Skoda Auto India has announced the return of the Octavia RS to the Indian market, opening online and dealership pre-bookings for the performance sedan ahead of its official launch on 17 October 2025. Customers can now reserve the limited-run model by paying Rs 2.50 lakh, either through Skoda India’s website or authorised outlets. Deliveries are scheduled to begin from 6 November. Imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), the Octavia RS will be restricted to just 100 units for the Indian market. Skoda has clarified that pre-booking secures a place in the order queue but does not guarantee allocation, underlining the car’s exclusive nature and limited production run.

The 2025 Octavia RS also adopts a sharper design language that sets it apart from the standard Octavia. It features Matrix LED headlights, 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and gloss-black exterior details. The model sits 15 mm lower for improved stance and stability. Inside, the cabin gets RS-specific upholstery finished in Suedia and leatherette, along with carbon-fibre-like trim and red stitching. The front seats are electrically adjustable, complete with memory, massage, heating, and ventilation functions for added comfort.
In terms of technology and safety, Skoda offers ten airbags, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and lane assist. The car features a 12.9-inch touchscreen, head-up display, and wireless smartphone connectivity. A 675W Canton sound system enhances audio quality, while Skoda has chosen to exclude a panoramic sunroof and dynamic chassis control to prioritise performance and safety.
The new Skoda Octavia RS houses a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine delivering 257bhp and 370Nm of torque. The powertrain is paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox that sends power to the front wheels. It achieves 0-100km/h in 6.4 seconds and has a top speed electronically capped at 250km/h. Skoda has equipped the model with a sport-tuned suspension, and an exhaust system designed for engaging performance.
