Skoda has taken the wraps off the Vision O concept at the 2025 Munich Motor Show, offering a first look at how it envisions the future of the estate segment. The concept marks the next step in the brand’s Modern Solid design philosophy, combining a streamlined, aerodynamic silhouette with a focus on practicality. It also signals the overall design direction Skoda intends to follow with its upcoming models. Built on the Volkswagen Group’s advanced Scalable Systems Platform (SSP), the Vision O sets the stage for Skoda’s forthcoming electric estates.

The Vision O is based on the Volkswagen Group’s advanced Scalable Systems Platform (SSP), which promises longer range, faster charging, and enhanced onboard technology.
The exterior adopts a distinctive approach with elements such as a sharply angled windscreen, a flowing roofline, and a newly developed Tech-Loop mask that replaces the brand’s earlier Tech-Deck face. Other design cues include flush door handles, a B-pillar drawing inspiration from the Skoda Yeti, and a split roof spoiler.

At the rear, the estate-style body continues Skoda’s recognisable design cues, featuring a clean, sculpted finish and updated light treatment, now expressed through modern T-shaped LED tail lamps that add both character and a contemporary edge.
The Vision O adopts a roomy configuration centred on simplicity and ease of operation. A wide Horizon Display stretches across the dashboard, paired with a vertically positioned central touchscreen. Physical buttons on the steering wheel, touch-sensitive panels, and a rotary controller with haptic feedback provide a mix of tactile and digital interaction.

Sustainability forms a key part of the interior. It has been finished with recycled fabrics, eco-friendly alternatives to leather flooring, and 3D-printed headrests. Skoda has also integrated features such as an AI-based voice assistant, circadian lighting, and even a 230V power socket to enhance everyday use.
