Tata Curvv

Tata Motors launched the Curvv EV in India last week, with prices ranging between Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV Coupe will also be available in both petrol and diesel variants starting September 2, 2024. While the company has not officially confirmed, industry reports indicate that a CNG version of the Curvv is in the pipeline. At the electric Curvv's introduction, the company's officials highlighted that their first mass-market SUV Coupe has been built to accommodate a variety of powertrains, including CNG. While there is no clear launch date, the CNG variant is 'under active consideration'.

The exact powertrain is unknown at this time, but the upcoming version will likely feature the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which propels the Nexon and its CNG concept. This engine generates 118bhp and 170Nm in petrol mode. Aside from minor powertrain-specific design tweaks, the SUV Coupe's appearance will remain the same. Here are some details about the newly launched electric Currv in India.
