Tata Motors recently launched the electrified Harrier in India, with prices starting at Rs 21.49 lakh and going up to Rs 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-tier variant. A special Stealth Edition has also been introduced, priced between Rs 28.24 lakh and Rs 30.23 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has now opened bookings for the electric SUV with a token amount of Rs 21,000. Offered in five main trims – Adventure, Adventure S, Fearless Plus, Empowered, and Empowered AWD – the Harrier EV is also Tata Motors’ first model to offer an all-wheel-drive setup. Additionally, existing Tata EV owners are being offered a Rs 1 lakh loyalty benefit.

The electric Tata Harrier is offered with two battery options – 65kWh and 75kWh. The rear-wheel-drive version uses a single motor producing 235bhp. The all-wheel-drive variant adds a front motor with 156bhp while retaining the 235bhp rear motor, combining for a total torque output of 504Nm.

The 75kWh battery delivers a certified range of up to 627 km, while the 65kWh pack offers around 538 km. In boost mode, the AWD version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.
Charging options include a 7.2kW AC charger that takes about 10.7 hours to charge from 10% to 100%, and a 120kW DC fast charger that charges from 20% to 80% in roughly 25 minutes.

Inside, the EV features a significant tech upgrade with a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen built on Samsung’s Neo QLED platform and developed by Harman. While the dashboard layout remains mostly unchanged from the ICE version, a new white and grey interior theme gives the cabin a fresher, more contemporary feel.
