Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition India Launch Soon, Officially Teased

Tata Motors has officially confirmed the Dark Edition of the Nexon EV Max for India. The Dark Edition will soon hit Indian roads, featuring a black-themed exterior and interior and black wheels. In February, the carmaker introduced the Red Dark Editions of the Safari, Harrier, and Nexon. Introductory prices for the Safari and the Harrier are Rs 22.61 lakh and Rs 21.77 lakh, respectively. The Tata Nexon Red Edition comes with a starting price of Rs 12.35 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom). Now, the homegrown carmaker is gearing up to bring the Dark Edition of the Nexon EV Max into our market. The new Dark Edition will reportedly have its official launch in India soon. It is anticipated to feature a new touchscreen infotainment system. In terms of the powertrain, there will be no changes. Let's know more about this Dark Edition of the Nexon EV Max.

Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition: Exterior & Interior 

The exterior of the upcoming Edition will sport black paintwork.  Additionally, the new version will have '#Dark' emblems on the front fender and darker 16-inch alloy wheels, along with blue accents to emphasize its electric nature. Inside, the new model is likely to get a piano-black dash and black-themed leatherette door trim and seats.

Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition: Features 

The upcoming Dark Edition will also see an improvement in terms of features. It will likely get a larger touchscreen, which appears to be the 10.25-inch unit from the Harrier. Like the standard models, the Nexon EV Max Dark Edition will also have wireless charging, heated front seats, an electric sunroof, an air purifier, an automatic parking brake, and more. 

Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition: Mechanical Details

The upcoming Dark Edition will mechanically remain the same. It will continue to be driven by the same 40.5kWh battery pack. The electric motors will deliver 14bhp of maximum power and 250Nm of peak torque. Moreover, it will offer a 453km driving range on a single charge.

Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition: Expected Launch Details & Price 

The carmaker has only teased the Dark Edition on its social media handle. However, it has not revealed the exact launch details of the model. According to the social media post of the carmaker, the upcoming Dark Edition will enter our market shortly. Several industry reports suggest that the new Dark version will be a bit more pricey than the standard models. Currently, the prices of the EV range between Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh in India. All prices are ex-showroom.
