Tata Motors is set to launch the Punch facelift later this year, bringing refreshed design and upgraded interior features.

Tata Motors is preparing to launch an updated version of its Punch micro SUV later this year. The facelifted model has been spotted on test runs and will feature design and equipment changes inspired by the company’s latest electric vehicles and new models. These updates aim to keep the Punch competitive in India’s micro-SUV market.
The 2025 Punch facelift will introduce a revised exterior. The front will get a new grille, split LED headlights, and a reshaped bumper. At the back, the SUV will feature a flatter tailgate with a connected LED light bar, similar to the Altroz. Other changes include new black alloy wheels and C-pillar-mounted rear door handles.

Inside, several upgrades await. The dashboard will host a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Punch will also sport a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata badge, touch-based climate controls.

It could also get ventilated front seats as well. The will cabin adopts a dual-tone layout and benefits from added practical touches like centre console cup holders.
The Punch will likely be continue with the current 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, producing 87bhp and 115Nm of torque. It will retain manual and automated manual transmission options as will. The CNG variant will remain part of the lineup, providing further fuel efficiency choices without mechanical changes. Safety features like six airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera system, and a tyre pressure monitoring system are also expected.

The facelift is expected to carry a price increase of around Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 compared with the existing model. Tata Motors plans the launch for the 2025 festive season, where the Punch will continue to challenge rivals such as the Hyundai Exter, Maruti Ignis, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger in the Indian market.
