Tesla has made its entry with the Model Y in the Indian market at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom), and now the American EV company has started taking official bookings at Rs 22,220. A second payment of Rs 3 lakh must be made within seven days to confirm the order. Both payments include TCS. Buyers can also opt for Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) package, available as an add-on for Rs 6 lakh.
The Model Y can be reserved through Tesla’s India website using a simple two-step process. The company confirmed the start of pan-India bookings on its social media handles. This online-only booking model reflects Tesla’s global practice of reducing dealership visits and focusing on direct digital sales.
