EVs are experiencing strong demand across India, with sales increasing by 28.6% YoY to 1.80 lakh units in June 2025, compared to the same month last year, according to FADA. The electric passenger vehicle segment remains a top performer, driven by rising buyer interest and manufacturers like Tata and Kia launching new, feature-rich models like the Harrier EV and the Carens Clavis EV. The segment is all set to expand further with more exciting launches around the corner. Here's a quick preview of the electric cars you can expect to see in India soon.

Mahindra is expected to price the electric version of the XUV700 around Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).

In terms of design, the premium SUV stands out with 19-inch alloy wheels, flush-fitted door handles, and a sporty coupe-like SUV profile.
