The wait is over! Toyota's ninth-generation Camry has arrived in India, and it's a significant upgrade over the outgoing model. The design is modern, and the interior now boasts advanced technology. Moreover, the length (4,920mm) has increased by 35mm, while the weight (1,645 kg) is down by 20kg. Toyota's fifth-generation Hybrid System (THS 5) is another addition to this exciting package. Here's a full overview of all the changes the new Camry gets over the previous model.

Toyota Camry - New vs Old: Exterior

The new Camry retains the platform but with a more modern design language. In contrast to the polygonal units found on the previous model, the updated sedan boasts sharp, angular headlights combined with boomerang-shaped DRLs. The air damn is narrower, and the roofline now slopes more steeply, creating a dynamic flow that leads into a more sculpted rear quarter glass. On the sides, the 18-inch alloy wheels remain, but now feature a refined star-like pattern, elevating the car's overall elegance.

At the rear, the Camry steps away from the previous model’s bulkier taillights in favour of sleeker, ‘C-shaped’ units. The rear reflectors on both sides of the dual-tone bumper are connected by a thin chrome bar.
