Toyota Fortuner Legender 4X4 MT Launched at Rs 46.36 Lakh in India

Toyota India has rolled out a new 4X4 manual transmission variant of the Fortuner Legender, priced at Rs 46.36 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned between the Fortuner 4X4 AT and the Fortuner GR-S, this addition marks the first time the Legender lineup is being offered with four-wheel-drive (4WD) capability. Toyota Fortuner Legender 4X4 MT: Appearance and Dimensions

Visually, the Fortuner Legender distinguishes itself from the regular Fortuner with unique design elements. It features Catamaran-inspired front and rear bumpers, a sharply contoured front grille accented with piano black touches, and an overall bold yet refined aesthetic. Additional styling highlights include split quad-LED headlamps with a waterfall-style LED line guide, sequential turn indicators, and 18-inch machine-cut alloy wheels with a multi-layered design.

Dimensionally, the SUV measures 4,795mm in length, 1,855mm in width, and 1,835mm in height, with a 2,745mm wheelbase and a ground clearance of 209mm.

On the mechanical front, the popular Toyota model is propelled by a 2.8-litre diesel engine, which belts out 201bhp of maximum power and 420Nm of peak torque. This unit is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. According to the carmaker, the advanced 4X4 technology further empowers drivers to tackle diverse landscapes.

Moving on to the interior, the SUV features a sophisticated dual-tone cabin in black and maroon, complemented by contrast stitching on the steering wheel and console box for an upscale look. The cabin also boasts a high-performance suction-based seat ventilation system for front passengers, ensuring enhanced comfort.
