Toyota Launches Urban Cruiser Hyryder Tech Package in India: Here's What It Gets

Toyota has launched a Tech Package for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder for Rs 29,499. The optional package features three carefully selected Toyota genuine accessories. It is available across all variants and dealerships nationwide. Moreover, the Package pushes the mid-size SUV’s price to Rs 11.24 lakh–Rs 20.05 lakh, with CNG models ranging from Rs 13.62 lakh to Rs 15.58 lakh and AWD variants costing between Rs 18.58 lakh and 18.7 lakh. That said, it is worth noting that the Tech Package is an additional cost on top of the selected trim of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. For reference, the Hyryder’s base price starts at Rs 10.95 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.76 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
Toyota Hyryder Tech Package: Here's What It Gets
The optional Urban Cruiser Hyryder Tech Package offers ambient lighting, a feature known for adding a subtle, customisable glow to the cabin. The next feature is the head-up display (HUD), which adds to the driver's convenience by projecting essential information directly onto the windshield.
Lastly, the Package offers a digital video recorder (dash camera). The dashcam, mounted at the front of the cabin, continuously records video while driving, serving as an imperative safety feature.
Toyota Hyryder: Engine and Features
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder's petrol and CNG variants are powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine. The petrol models are available with manual and automatic transmission options and optional AWD for higher trims, while CNG models come exclusively with a manual gearbox. The strong-hybrid version pairs a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and battery, mated solely to a CVT.
In terms of features, the Hyryder offers ventilated front seats, paddle shifters, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, smartphone and smartwatch integration. Other highlights include a panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, and wireless charging.

Safety-wise, the SUV gets ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and six airbags.
