Toyota has increased the prices of the Rumion MPV in India by Rs 13,000. This price hike applies to all variants (S, G, and V), respective of their transmission or fuel type.

All variants of the Toyota Rumion MPV, including S, G, and V, have seen a uniform price increase of Rs 13,000 in India. The S variant with a manual transmission is now priced at Rs 10.67 lakh, up from Rs 10.54 lakh. The automatic version starts at Rs 12.17 lakh, compared to Rs 12.04 lakh earlier. The G variant with a manual gearbox now costs Rs 11.83 lakh, an increase from Rs 11.70 lakh, while its automatic counterpart is priced at Rs 13.23 lakh, up from Rs 13.10 lakh. The V variant is now available at Rs 12.56 lakh for the manual version (previously Rs 12.43 lakh), and Rs 13.96 lakh for the automatic version (up from Rs 13.83 lakh). The S MT CNG variant now costs Rs 11.62 lakh, instead of Rs 11.49 lakh earlier. These are ex-showroom prices.

The Rumion, a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, differentiates itself with trapezoidal fog lamp housings in the front bumper. It also sports a new grille, reminiscent of the Innova Crysta. The car also features new dual-tone alloy wheels.

Inside, the Rumion has a dual-tone black and beige dashboard, highlighted by faux wood accents. It includes cruise control, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless CarPlay and Android compatibility, and automatic climate control.
As for the safety, the MPV has ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, side airbags, and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
The Rumion has a 1.5-litre petrol engine that puts out 102bhp of maximum power and 137Nm of peak torque, and is mated to either a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission or a five-speed manual transmission.

While running on CNG, the same unit mated solely to a five-speed manual gearbox puts out 87bhp of maximum power and 121.5Nm of peak torque. In comparison to the Rumion CNG's claimed economy of 26.11km/kg, the Rumion petrol has a mileage of 20.51km/l.
