Volvo will introduce the updated XC60 in India on August 1, 2025. The SUV will have a revamped grille, reshaped bumpers, new alloy wheel patterns, and three new paint options. It will also feature darker taillamps. Inside, the SUV will now sport a vertically oriented 11.2-inch touchscreen powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform. The setup will deliver enhanced responsiveness, sharper graphics, and built-in Google functionality with wireless updates.

Mechanically, the SUV will remain unchanged, which means you'll get the same 2.0-litre mild-hybrid petrol motor linked to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and a capable all-wheel-drive system. As for prices, the SUV is expected to get a significant hike over the outgoing model, which starts at 70.75 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mercedes-AMG CLE 53

Mercedes-Benz AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ will make its way to India on August 12. It will feature a potent 3.0-litre, twin-turbo inline-six petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This drivetrain produces 442.5bhp and 560Nm of torque, with an added 40Nm of torque delivered momentarily through Overboost.

Power is delivered to all four wheels through a nine-speed AMG-tuned dual-clutch transmission and the 4Matic+ system, helping the coupe sprint from 0 to 100km/h in a claimed 4.2 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 250km/h but can be raised to 270km/h with the optional AMG Performance Package.

Notable exterior and interior features include sharp LED DRLs, a sculpted bumper, a signature AMG grille, turbine-style vents, dual digital displays, and an AMG flat-bottom steering wheel with touch controls. Price-wise, the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 is likely to have a price tag of approximately Rs 2 crore (ex-showroom).

The lineup includes the Vision S, T, X, and SXT. All four concepts will use Mahindra’s new Freedom_NU platform. This flexible base supports petrol, diesel, electric, and hybrid powertrains. They’ll be built at the Chakan plant near Pune. The Mahindra Vision SXT hints at a rugged pickup concept, possibly based on the Scorpio-N platform, while the Mahindra Vision S appears to preview the electric version of the Scorpio-N. More confirmed details will be revealed at the official debut.
