Maruti Suzuki, one of India's top-selling car manufacturers, continues to dominate the market with its popular models such as the Baleno, Swift, and Wagon R, which have secured spots among the best-selling cars in the past month. To increase its market share in the Indian automotive sector, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch several new and revised models. Among these anticipated releases are the next-generation Swift, the new Dzire, and more. Notably, the company recently confirmed the launch of an MPV based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, scheduled for July 5. These upcoming models from Maruti Suzuki are expected to incorporate a range of advanced technological features, enhancing their appeal to customers. In addition to these upcoming releases, Maruti Suzuki has already introduced the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and the new Jimny to the Indian market, further strengthening its diverse lineup of offerings. So, let’s look at some of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki models.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto
Maruti Suzuki will launch the Invicto MPV on July 5 in India. The MPV will be based on the Toyota Innova Hycross and would likely get the same powertrain options. After the XL6 and the Ertiga, the Invicto will be Maruti Suzuki's third MPV. In terms of appearance, the new MPV will mirror the Hycross. However, instead of Toyota's logo, it will have the brand's logo on the front grille. According to the previous spy pictures, the Maruti Suzuki MPV will have a two-slat chrome grille featuring a hexagonal mesh pattern.
Inside, the Invicto will differ from the Hycross in terms of features and upholstery. Additionally, the upcoming model will probably get upgrades such as a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors, ambient lighting, and motorised Ottoman captain chairs in the second row. In terms of the price, the all-new model could demand more than Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the MPV have started for Rs 25,000 in our market. Interested customers can book the MPV via any dealership in the Nexa network or the company's official website.
Next-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift
The Japanese automaker will reportedly bring the revamped version of the Swift to India soon. The carmaker will offer the much-awaited facelifted model with several design updates over the existing model. Inside, the upcoming hatchback will have features that are also available in the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
The new Swift will be based on the revised HEARTECT platform. Mechanically, the next-gen model will presumably get a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine with Toyota’s powerful hybrid technology. Price-wise, the facelift model will likely retail between Rs 6.5 lakh and Rs 12 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.
New Maruti Suzuki Dzire
The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is likely to be launched in the country soon. It could cost between Rs 7.2 lakh and Rs 13 lakh in India. The prices for the existing model line-up range between Rs 6.24 lakh and Rs 9.18 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
The new Dzire will get a 1.2-litre dualjet petrol unit, which will be mated to a manual gearbox and an AMT unit. The upcoming model is also likely to come with a powerful hybrid engine. The Dzire will most likely have the Swift hatchback's features and interior.
