Hyundai Creta Facelift

Hyundai Creta Turbo Petrol

Hyundai intends to introduce the revised Creta within the upcoming year's first quarter. Compared to its predecessor, the new Hyundai Creta will have fresh alloy wheels, modified lighting, and redesigned front and rear profiles, among other upgrades. The SUV will also have a few changes inside, like a redesigned dashboard with a dual-screen arrangement for the infotainment system and digital instrument console. The currently available 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines will still be available. However, the upgraded SUV might come with a 1.5-litre petrol turbocharged engine. Prices for the current Creta range from Rs 10.87 lakh to Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With a range of upgrades, the facelift model is expected to command a hefty premium over the standard model.

Mahindra Thar 5-Door

Mahindra Thar Side Profile

In the first half of 2024, Mahindra is probably going to launch the much-awaited Thar in its five-door form. A lot of observations of the car doing road tests around the country have provided a wealth of information about its characteristics. New 5-spoke alloy wheels, LED projector fog lights, and other modifications are expected to be on the outside. However, the model's interior is likely to have a floating infotainment system without any big bezels and a full-screen display. Although there has been no official confirmation, industry reports suggest that this unit could be about 10 inches in size and allow wireless Android Auto, Apple Carplay, and other tech-related features. Mechanically, the upcoming Mahindra Thar 5-door is predicted to offer the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and 2.2-litre diesel engine options. The petrol engine produces 320Nm of torque and 150bhp of maximum power, while the diesel motor generates 130bhp and 300Nm of performance figures. As far as prices are concerned, the new Thar is anticipated to range between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 18 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom.

Tata Curvv SUV Coupe

The Curvv is anticipated to be released by Tata Motors in the early months of the next year. In our markets, it will be available in both electric and ICE avatars, with the former arriving first. Market reports suggest that the company's new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a manual and dual-clutch automatic transmission could debut with the ICE version of the Curvv, however, the carmaker has not made an official announcement on the subject. The electric version of the SUV is rumoured to offer a range of up to 500 kilometre. There is not much information on the electric drivetrain but the EV is said to be developed on the carmaker's Gen2 platform. Upon launch in India, the ICE variant of the Curvv will compete with the Tata Harrier, the MG Astor, the MG Hector, the Mahindra XUV700, and more. On the other hand, the Curvv EV's direct competitor will be the MG ZS EV.
