VinFast will launch its third model in India, the MPV 7, on April 15, 2026, and bookings of the same are now open for a token amount of Rs 21,000. The electric MPV will be sold under two names, targeting different buyers. For instance, the MPV 7 will cater to individual buyers, while the Limo Green will be for fleet operations. Currently, VinFast offers two electric SUVs in India, the VF 6 and the VF 7. The new MPV 7 will be the Vietnamese brand’s maiden model in the three-row segment. It will help it to take on established rivals like Kia and BYD, which already have offerings such as the Carens Clavis EV and eMax 7 in this segment.
VinFast offers the MPV 7 with a 60.13kWh battery in the international market, which feeds a single front-mounted electric motor to make 201bhp of maximum power and 280Nm of peak torque. It has a range of 450 kilometres (NEDC).

As for charging, the VinFast electric MPV supports 80kW DC fast charging, which enables it to charge from 10% to 70% in around half an hour.

The VinFast MPV 7 (also marketed as the Limo Green for fleet operations) looks like a classic, spacious MPV, with a unique, futuristic design and elements typical of electric vehicles. While it borrows certain design cues from its electric SUV siblings, the VF 6 and the VF 7, the MPV 7 stands out with a more upright, boxy profile with a flat roof. Key highlights include a V-shaped LED DRL strip, split-headlamps, aero-optimised alloy wheels, and a connected LED taillamp bar.

The upcoming MPV 7 from VinFast follows a clean, minimalist interior approach. It offers a 2+3+2 seating configuration, and is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 4-speaker sound system, and a sliding second-row bench. Instead of a conventional instrument cluster, the electrified MPV utilises a head-up display to relay essential driving data. These features are part of the global-spec version, while the India-spec model’s final equipment list will be revealed at launch.
As part of its India roadmap, VinFast will bring its two-wheeler portfolio to the market in the second half of the year. The company will adopt a distinct retail strategy, with separate showrooms for its two- and four-wheeler offerings. Currently, VinFast has 51 four-wheeler outlets across the country, which it plans to expand to 75 by the end of the year.
