Volkswagen launches limited edition Vento

Volkswagen launched limited edition Vento Konekt priced between Rs 7.84 lakhs to Rs 9.8 lakhs. This variant comes with a rear-seat entertainment system, which features an Android-powered Bluetooth-enabled 8-inch Blaupunkt tablet with GPS navigation and hands-free, Bluetooth-enabled telephony.

The tablet has 16 channels of live television, Internet radio, weather updates, live stock market feeds and more. It also allows users to access apps like Facebook and Twitter, use Google Maps for navigation, make video calls with a 3G data connection and even find the nearest Volkswagen dealer/service centre.

The 2-DIN entertainment system, on the centre console, features a 7-inch TFT touchscreen colour display, Igo-Navtech maps for navigation, USB connectivity and iPhone/iPod compatibility.

This limited edition Vento gets leatherette seat covers with 'Konekt' badging on the boot and on the scuff plates.

Speaking at the launch of the limited edition Vento Konekt, Mr. Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt.
