Volvo will introduce the refreshed XC60 in India on August 1, featuring modest visual updates and key technological enhancements to its premium mid-size SUV. The exterior has been subtly reworked, featuring a redesigned grille, reshaped bumpers, darker taillamps, new alloy wheel patterns, and three new paint options: Forest Lake, Aurora Silver, and Mulberry Red. Inside, the SUV receives a major digital upgrade with a vertically oriented 11.2-inch touchscreen powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, delivering enhanced responsiveness, sharper graphics, and built-in Google functionality with wireless updates. The drivetrain remains unchanged, featuring the 2.0-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

Visually, the facelift brings a more contemporary flair with changes such as deeper-toned taillights, a reprofiled grille, and updated alloy wheel designs. A broader colour range will be introduced, including Forest Lake and Aurora Silver, along with Mulberry Red.

The powertrain remains familiar in the form of a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid setup. Performance figures are expected to stay the same, producing 247bhp of maximum power and 360Nm of peak torque, delivered through an eight-speed automatic gearbox and standard all-wheel-drive (AWD) configuration.
The most notable shift lies inside, where a new 11.2-inch touchscreen takes centre stage. Backed by Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, it promises quicker system responses and sharper display quality.

These enhancements will likely be offered in addition to the extensive feature list from the current version, which includes multi-zone climate control, heated and ventilated front seats with massage function, a panoramic sunroof, an ADAS suite, a Bowers & Wilkins premium audio setup, 360-degree cameras, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument display. With these additions, the facelifted XC60 is expected to command a slightly higher price tag.
The interior also benefits from refined trim finishes. Globally, air suspension is available, and it may be offered in the India-bound model as well.
