The Volvo XC40 and the C40 Recharge are fun-to-drive EVs in the premium segment. Their performance and features wonderfully rival many sports cars. And now, the carmaker has launched the Volvo XC40 Plus which is a single-motor variant of the XC40. It comes with a smaller battery and therefore delivers less power. It is less loaded than its original iteration in terms of features too.
Design-wise, it is almost similar to its older sibling yet the headlamps are full LED with high and low beams. The fog lamps are also one of the elements which are not included in this single-battery variant. The cabin doesn’t have many substantial changes; most features remain similar. However, It gets wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and lacks a 360-degree surround view camera. Price-wise the Volvo XC40 Plus is affordable than the twin-motor variant.
