Welcome to Part 2 of the 3rd edition of autoX's Mega ADAS comparison test.
In this episode, we shift focus from Automatic Emergency Braking to how ADAS systems behave in real-world driving conditions. Six cars from India’s biggest carmakers – Mahindra, Hyundai, Kia, Tata, Toyota, and Maruti Suzuki – go head-to-head once again.
This time, we evaluate key driver-assistance features such as:
All six cars are tested under similar highway conditions to see how naturally their ADAS systems behave in real traffic scenarios - from maintaining distance on adaptive cruise control to how confidently they keep the car centred in the lane.
The results once again reveal major differences between manufacturers. While some systems feel smooth, predictable, and confidence-inspiring, others show abrupt braking, nervous steering corrections, or inconsistent lane assistance.
Which ADAS system offers the most natural highway driving experience? Which one feels overcautious or unfinished?
Watch till the end to find out which manufacturer comes out on top in Part 2 of our Mega ADAS Test.
