The BMW X3 has always lived between two extremes. Not entry-level like the X1, not flagship like the X5. But with 255bhp and 400Nm from its 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, the new X3 xDrive30i is no longer playing safe.
It’s quicker than before, sharper than the Mercedes-Benz GLC in real-world driving, and finally feels like a proper BMW again.
But is it the most sensible luxury SUV you can buy in India today? Or does the stiff ride and digital-heavy interior compromise the experience?
