MG has unveiled the Majestor, positioning it as a premium 7-seater SUV that isn’t afraid of rough terrain.
We took the Majestor to a controlled off-road course to see whether the hardware beneath the styling lives up to the promise. Steep inclines, deep water, broken surfaces, cross-axle sections and loose terrain - the kind of conditions that quickly expose weak calibration or cosmetic 4x4 systems.
On paper, the numbers are strong: a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel producing 215 bhp and 478 Nm, paired with multiple traction modes and electronic aids. The real question is whether it feels engineered for control and confidence when the surface turns hostile.
