Ultraviolette is one of the most ambitious electric motorcycle manufacturers to emerge from India in recent years. With products like the F77 and the upcoming X-47 crossover, the Bengaluru-based company is pushing the envelope in terms of performance, technology, and rider-focused innovation.
During our visit to Ultraviolette’s 25,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in the Jigani Industrial Area of Bengaluru, we got the opportunity to go beyond a typical factory tour. Instead of simply observing the production process, we actually joined the assembly line to experience how the X-47 electric motorcycle comes together.
This facility handles everything from battery pack assembly and vehicle integration to testing, radar calibration, and final quality inspection, highlighting the engineering depth behind Ultraviolette’s motorcycles. The company also places strong emphasis on in-house electronics and software systems, including its Motor Control Unit, Vehicle Control Unit, connectivity features, and ADAS technologies.
With an annual production capacity of roughly 30,000 units, the plant represents an important step in Ultraviolette’s plans to scale up manufacturing while maintaining tight quality control over its high-performance electric motorcycles.
