The Audi Q8 e-tron Edition Dakar presents a fresh interpretation, showcasing a more assertive stance, bold tires, and a distinctive exterior design, all while retaining the formidable powertrain that is certain to capture attention. This limited-edition electric SUV will attract aficionados worldwide, with only 99 copies available internationally. It was unveiled just a day before the 2024 Dakar rally, which marks Audi's final campaign in the event. The Audi Q8 e-tron Edition Dakar is perfect for daredevils in search of an exhilarating off-road adventure, thanks to its off-road prowess and rapid torque. Imports of this model to India are highly unlikely. Audi Q8 e-tron Edition Dakar carries a  price tag of 120,000 euros (about Rs 1.09 crore) in Germany.

The Audi Q8 e-tron Edition Dakar rides on the same chassis as the Q8 55 e-tron quattro and takes design cues from the RS Q e-tron, the brand's Dakar rally challenger. Matrix LED headlights are standard equipment, and as the driver's door opens, a unique LED projection of "Edition Dakar" appears on the ground, adding a personal touch. With an eye-catching black base, the rare custom livery edition is available in three paint options: Siam Beige metallic, Mythos Black metallic, and Magnetic Grey. There will be only 99 units in total. Optional virtual side mirrors with cameras narrow the vehicle's width by 15 mm for a more streamlined appearance.

Even though the Audi Q8 e-tron Edition Dakar now comes standard with the S line cabin, the inside experience is otherwise mostly unchanged. Included in this package are red Audi Sport stitching, Dinamica microfiber upholstery, and sports seats with deep contours. Inside, you'll find stainless steel paddle shifters and a leather sport steering wheel with multiple functions. Optional features include a 705W 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen Sound System for audiophiles and an additional high-voltage heater to improve heating performance in harsh environments.

Notable improvements include Edition Dakar-exclusive backdrop graphics and the ability to see the vehicle's tilt angle on the MMI screen. You may enhance your driving experience with an optional convenience key that allows you to effortlessly open and close doors and the trunk through wireless communication with your vehicle.
