Jaguar will showcase the Type 00 electric grand tourer concept in India for the first time on June 14, 2025. The unveiling in Mumbai is part of the car’s global tour. Earlier, Jaguar displayed the Type 00 in Miami and Paris. The tour will continue with stops in Monaco, Munich, and Tokyo. This event highlights Jaguar’s entry into India’s growing luxury electric vehicle market. The Jaguar Type 00 electric car follows the brand’s 'Exuberant Modernism' design language. It also embraces a 'Copy Nothing' approach, setting it apart from other EVs. The electric grand tourer has a long bonnet, a cabin placed towards the rear, and a sloping roofline. The front has an enclosed grille, narrow lighting units, and bold styling elements like the 'Device Mark' and functional air vents.

The side view of the Jaguar Type 00 EV shows sharp body lines and flared fenders. A brass trim strip on the front fender hides the side-view camera and features the updated Jaguar leaper logo. The concept also introduces new wheels with a ‘double J’ roundel instead of the traditional ‘Growler’. A glazed roof panel finished in body colour lets in natural light and adds to the interior experience.
