The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is still our most practical and efficient everyday long-term commuter car. There’ve been arguments in our office about who gets to keep it, which also makes it the most passed around long-term vehicle we’ve ever had. The reason is simple. Everyone wants it whenever they are planning a trip or have some work in the city.
But, why is such a simple car like the Dzire the most wanted vehicle in our office right now? The answer is still as obvious as it was the first day we got the car. The Dzire is the most practical, comfortable, hassle free and fuel-efficient car in our fleet. It’s also got lots of space for rear passengers, so whenever someone took it for a family trip, it served its purpose perfectly well.
Even though we have the petrol variant with the AMT, the Dzire still gives us a very good fuel economy –18km/l on average. Even with my ‘pedal to the metal’ driving style the car is still very efficient. That’s also another reason why we decide to take it on long road trips. The car is great on the highway, the engine is smooth and the ride quality is fantastic. So, no matter the occasion, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is always the most wanted.
