F1 Oscar Piastri

McLaren F1 driver Oscar Piastri secured his seventh win of the season at the Dutch Grand Prix. From the start, the McLaren driver managed the race and kept ahead even as Max Verstappen closed the gap in the final laps. Piastri stayed out on worn tyres and crossed the line first, strengthening his position in the championship standings.

For Lando Norris, the Dutch Grand Prix did not go to plan. Two Safety Car periods worked in his favour, putting him in contention for the lead. However, on Lap 65, Norris’s McLaren developed a suspected oil leak, forcing him to retire and making his title campaign more difficult. Verstappen moved up to second as a result.
