Formula 1 returns to Monza this weekend for the 2025 F1 Italian Grand Prix. The circuit, often called the 'Temple of Speed', is one of the longest-serving tracks on the calendar with its distinctive straights and flowing corners. It is Ferrari’s home event, where last year the Tifosi celebrated Charles Leclerc’s win. Monza has also delivered unexpected outcomes in recent times, with Pierre Gasly winning in 2020 and Daniel Ricciardo in 2021.
All eyes are now on championship leader Oscar Piastri, who arrives with a 34‑point cushion after his Dutch Grand Prix victory. His McLaren teammate and title rival Lando Norris suffered a costly late retirement that widened the gap between the pair. Max Verstappen fought for second in front of his home crowd for Red Bull, while Isack Hadjar delivered a breakthrough moment for Racing Bulls with his first Formula 1 podium.

Ferrari will look to harness the roar of their fans, while Piastri fights to maintain momentum in a title race that could shift at any round. Monza’s high-speed straights test engines, gearboxes, and nerves, turning every lap into a fine balance of risk and reward.
