Sauber has unveiled a one-off livery in collaboration with its title sponsor, Stake for the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. The modern art-inspired design will feature on both race cars, while drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will wear matching race suits. The team’s garage and pit equipment will also adopt the same visual theme throughout the race weekend. This initiative highlights the team’s ambition to engage fans with a bold and unified aesthetic tailored to Miami’s vibrant atmosphere.
The Miami Grand Prix is renowned for blending motorsport with local culture, establishing itself as a global event with strong ties to the art world. Sauber’s special livery embraces this theme, designed to capture attention and enhance the race weekend experience. The city’s distinctive flair and Formula 1’s high-speed drama provide the perfect backdrop for such a creative statement.

This marks the team’s first special livery of the season, with similar projects expected before the year ends as the squad transitions to Audi next year – meaning the Sauber name will soon disappear from the grid. Sauber aims to leverage these special liveries to strengthen its brand and connect with a broader audience. By merging motorsport with contemporary culture, the team seeks to elevate its global presence and appeal.

Stefano Battiston, Chief Commercial Officer: 'This livery is more than just a new look – it’s a celebration of Miami’s creative spirit and our commitment to energising the sport for our fans. Our objective when developing this livery with Stake was to stand out, not only for our dedication on the track, but also for our boldness and creativity off track. Our team is dedicated to creating memorable moments and engaging experiences, and this Miami special is a perfect example of that.'
