After years of domination by British driver Lewis Hamilton, Red Bull's Max Verstappen has emerged as the sport's central character in recent years. But his greatest ambition is to one day drive for a different team than the one he does now. The Dutch driver's performance in F1 has been nothing short of spectacular, and he has assumed the mantle of the sport's standard-bearer. Over the last several years, he's shown a great degree of maturity and domination that well outstrips even the previously apex entities. The reigning Formula 1 world champion said in an interview that driving for the Ferrari team would be his "ultimate dream," despite the fact that the Italian outfit hasn't won a championship in a while.

The capacity to improve year after year is the most crucial factor for Max Verstappen, who is on track to win three world championships by the conclusion of the current campaign. Despite all of his accomplishments, many are curious whether he has any intention of leaving Red Bull in future.

Max Verstappen answered this question by saying his number one priority was to drive the quickest vehicle. He would be comfortable joining the Ferrari team if they had it. The Dutch driver, who is under contract with Red Bull until 2028, will turn 31. He emphasised that this would be a great option to sign with the Italian team if they show interest; otherwise, he would look for life in other competitions.

With his dominant performance in the Spanish Grand Prix, two-time defending champion Max Verstappen propelled himself to a 53-point lead in the championship standings. The 25-year-old Dutchman started off as the clear favourite and ended up winning by a margin of 24 seconds. In significantly improved Mercedes vehicles, seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton came in second.

Verstappen won for the third straight time, the third time in Spain, the fifth time in seven races this season, and the 40th time in his career despite getting three official warnings for exceeding track regulations.

2022 F1 Jeddah GP Red Bull

Red Bull team manager Christian Horner has said that the company is in talks with two possible teams for engines supply deal after the 2026 Formula 1 season. At the start of the 2023 season, the current F1 world champions and Ford entered into a new arrangement that would allow the Austrian team to develop their own engines starting in 2026. As a result, Red Bull will provide some of the client teams with power units.

It's tough to make the case that betting on RBPT right now isn't a huge gamble. The group is venturing into power unit production for the first time, where they'll face off against industry giants like Mercedes and others.
