The Indian Racing League is all set to bring street racing vibes to the west coast as Goa prepares to host a brand-new round in February 2026. Scheduled for 14–15 February, the race will take place on a temporary street circuit near Manohar International Airport at MOPA. This marks the first time the IRL will race on Goan public roads, adding a fresh chapter to Indian motorsport. With barriers, tight corners and long braking zones, the Goa street circuit promises a proper race weekend feel. The move also strengthens the league’s plan to take racing beyond permanent tracks and into city-style venues, giving fans a closer look at high-speed action in a completely new setting.

The Goa street circuit measures around 2.064 km and features 12 turns. Built only for this event, the layout is designed to test driver control and consistency across two race days. Street circuits demand precision, and even a small mistake can cost positions, making this round one of the most challenging on the calendar.
This event will serve as Round 4 of the 2025–26 Indian Racing League season. The championship features six city-based teams racing identical Wolf GB08 Thunder single-seater cars. Each team includes Indian and international drivers, along with a mandatory female racer, keeping the grid competitive and diverse.
Plans for a street race in Goa were first discussed for the 2025 Indian Racing Festival. The original proposal placed the circuit in Vasco, but local concerns led organisers to revise the venue. The airport location allowed the event to move forward, with the race rescheduled for early 2026.

Fans can watch the full race weekend both trackside and from home. Tickets are expected to be available via the District by Zomato app, while live coverage will be streamed on JioHotstar and broadcast on Star Sports Select 2.
