The champion participants in India's two and four wheel motorsport disciplines for the calendar year of 2014 were officially crowned last night at a prize giving ceremony in Bengaluru organized by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), the country's sanctioning body for motor racing.

The act of handing over a trophy is when a participants champion status is officially confirmed, much like the award function held by the FIA, which recognizes champions in F1, WRC and WTCC. As far as those who follow a racing series and fans present at the events are concerned, the end of the final event of the calendar is when a championship is finalized.

Appeals, protests and other technicalities can change the outcome but such events are rare. Here is the list of the champions from India, as stated in a press release on the FMSCI's official website.
