The 93rd edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours takes place this weekend at the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe. Widely regarded as one of the toughest endurance races in the world, it features 24 hours of continuous racing, with cars reaching top speeds of up to 340km/h. Around 70% of each lap is completed at full throttle, making it a true test of reliability, stamina, and precision. This year’s grid includes 17 Hypercar drivers with Formula 1 experience, adding more depth and excitement to the challenge. Winning at Le Mans takes more than just speed. Teams must plan pit stops, driver rotations, and technical checks carefully to last the full 24 hours. Regulations state that victory goes not to the first car across the line, but the one that covers the most distance within the time. Each team fields three drivers who take turns behind the wheel, managing fatigue and navigating day-to-night transitions while keeping the car in peak condition.

Ferrari enters the race as the leading manufacturer in the Hypercar class, aiming for a third consecutive Le Mans win. However, competition is fierce with Porsche, Toyota, Cadillac, BMW, and Alpine all eyeing the top step of the podium. Toyota, which dominated Le Mans in recent years, is looking to bounce back after falling short of victory. The 2025 edition promises tight racing, strategy-driven battles, and a dramatic fight for endurance racing’s top honour.
For Indian fans eager to follow the action, the full race schedule has been adjusted for local time zones. With so many top teams and drivers involved, and strategic decisions playing a key role, this year’s Le Mans is set to deliver one of the most thrilling endurance battles yet.
