Mahindra Racing concluded the pre-season Formula E test in Valencia, held between 27-31 October, by finishing at the top. Across six sessions, the team gathered detailed performance data through its work on energy management, race simulations, and car setup development. The Mahindra M12Electro delivered consistent results, with Edoardo Mortara recording the overall fastest lap of 1:21.493 and securing victory in Tuesday’s race simulation. Nyck de Vries also stayed among the leading group with a fifth-place effort. The field remained tightly packed, and the results provided teams with a reliable baseline as Formula E heads towards its season opener in Sao Paulo on 6 December 2025.

Reigning champion Oliver Rowland set the fastest time in the second session but remained marginally adrift of Mortara’s earlier benchmark. The close gaps across the sessions brought Nissan’s Norman Nato and DS Penske’s Taylor Barnard into contention, showing that fine adjustments in setup or strategy could transform grid positions. The minimal differences highlighted how precision in energy deployment and car balance will define outcomes in the upcoming season.

The M12Electro demonstrated early promise throughout testing, giving the team a stable foundation for the new campaign. Mortara topped two sessions, while de Vries delivered steady pace, reinforcing the effectiveness of the team’s development programme through the off-season.
