MotoGP: Aleix Espargaro Career

Espargaro's contract with Aprilia ends this year. When he signed it two years ago, he hinted this would be his final MotoGP season.

Espargaro made a notable debut in MotoGP in 2009, earning points in his first race as a substitute for Pramac Ducati at the Indianapolis GP, finishing thirteenth. His impressive performance in all four 2009 appearances led to a full-season contract with Pramac in 2010.

In 2015, Espargaro joined the Suzuki factory team, riding alongside Maverick Viñales. He played a key role in developing the GSX-RR motorcycle, though he struggled to secure race wins. Moving to Aprilia in 2017, Espargaro pushed the limits of an underperforming bike. His perseverance paid off in 2021 when he achieved Aprilia's first MotoGP podium. In 2022, he further cemented his legacy by winning in Argentina.

Throughout his career, Espargaro has been a vocal advocate for safety improvements in racing, demonstrating his devotion not only to his success but also to the well-being of all involved in the sport.
