Marco Bezzecchi led from pole to win the Portuguese Grand Prix in Portimao for Aprilia, finishing ahead of Alex Marquez and Pedro Acosta.

Marco Bezzecchi secured the Portuguese Grand Prix win in Portimao with a controlled run from pole position. The Aprilia rider set his pace early and managed the gap through the entire race, giving his team an important result after a difficult Malaysia round. His weekend also included a third place in the sprint. The 25-lap race brought position changes across the field and shaped the latest updates in the championship fight, with several riders gaining and losing ground as the race unfolded.
Alex Marquez started the main race with confidence after his sprint win and strong practice sessions. He passed Pedro Acosta on lap two to move into second. Marquez tried to close the gap, but Bezzecchi held steady at the front. The lead stayed consistent through the middle laps, with Bezzecchi keeping more than three seconds in hand before the final phase.

Bezzecchi reduced his pace near the end but still crossed the line 2.583 seconds ahead of Marquez. Pedro Acosta took third for KTM after closing in during the final laps and finishing 0.605 seconds behind Marquez.

Further down the field, Fermin Aldeguer moved from eleventh to fourth for Gresini Ducati with a solid recovery ride. Brad Binder finished fifth for KTM and Fabio Quartararo led Yamaha in sixth, followed by Ai Ogura in seventh for Trackhouse Aprilia. Fabio Di Giannantonio took eighth for VR46, with Johann Zarco ninth for LCR Honda and Pol Espargaro tenth for Tech3 KTM.

Pecco Bagnaia crashed out from fourth. Franco Morbidelli retired on lap one after a crash, while Joan Mir stopped on lap three with technical problems.
