MotoGP Qatar GP 2024: Interesting Facts About Lusail International Circuit

In 2004, Qatar hosted its first MotoGP event at the Lusail International Circuit, which was constructed in less than a year. Its location is on the fringes of the capital city of Qatar, Doha. In 2021, Qatar played host to the first-ever FIA Formula One World Championship, and starting in 2023, the country will continue to host for another decade.

The 5.4km Lusail International Circuit was meticulously planned with motorbike racing as its primary objective. A large number of medium- to high-speed curves are part of this circuit's dynamic architecture, which also features quick and smooth sections. The main straight of the track is almost 1 km long and makes up a significant portion of its total length.
