Ather launched the 450 Apex in early January 2024 in India at Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The 450 Apex, undoubtedly, is Ather's most expensive offering here, but for those planning to buy this electric scooter, Ather has now hiked the price by Rs 6,000.
The claimed IDC range of the Ather 450 Apex is 157 kilometres, thanks to the new regenerative braking system that works with a brand-new energy management algorithm called 'Magic Twist'.
When it comes to market competitors, the Ather 450 Apex locks horns with the likes of the Bajaj Chetak, the Ola S1 Pro, and the TVS iQube. It is priced at Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
The bookings for the 450 Apex are currently being accepted at authorised dealerships. The model will be sold in limited numbers, with customer deliveries starting in March 2024.
In the previous teaser of the 450 Apex shared by Ather, one could notice a single-piece grab rail, a sleek side profile, and certain components—like the front apron—that were the same as those on the current model.
The Ather 450 Apex scooter is anticipated to be more expensive than the 3.7kWh Ather 450X, which currently retails at Rs 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom).
