<p>Not long ago, <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/bajaj/">Bajaj Auto</a> updated the Pulsar N160 with a Bluetooth-enabled digital dash enabling users to&nbsp;accept/reject calls and receive mobile notifications. And, in a&nbsp;few months since then, Bajaj has launched a new variant of the Pulsar N160 in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom), this new variant gets a gold-finished&nbsp;upside-down (USD) fork at the front, while the dual-channel&nbsp;ABS variant (Rs 1.33 lakh, ex-showroom) of the bike continues to offer&nbsp;37mm telescopic front forks.</p>

<p>Besides the USD fork, the new variant of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 brings turn-by-turn navigation and three ABS modes (Road, Rain, and Off-Road). The latter allows riders to&nbsp;choose their preferred braking intervention level&nbsp;depending on the circumstances. The motorcycle is available&nbsp;in four different colours:&nbsp;Red, White, Blue, and Black.</p>

<p>The only thing different about the 2023 model is that it now has hardware that is OBD2-compliant. The onboard diagnostic system monitors emissions in real-time and alerts the driver via dashboard indicators if there is any problem. The motorcycle also works with E20 fuel, which is a mixture of 20 per cent&nbsp;ethanol and petrol. Meanwhile, the 164.82cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine is still listed under mechanical specifications. <p>After being spotted on test multiple times, the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/bajaj/" target="_blank">Bajaj</a> Pulsar N160 has been finally launched, with prices starting from Rs 1.23 lakh for the single-channel ABS variant. At Rs 1.28 lakh, buyers can go for the dual-channel ABS variant&nbsp;– it is the first bike in its class to offer this feature. The N160 gets the same starting price as the NS160, which is still on sale and&nbsp;is available only in a single variant. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.</p>

<p>The single-channel variant of the N160 is available in three colour options&nbsp;– Caribbean Blue, Racing Red, and Techno Grey&nbsp;– while&nbsp;the dual-channel ABS variant is available exclusively in Brooklyn Black.</p>

<p>What separates it from the NS160? In simple words, the NS160 is a downsized version of the NS200, and the new N160 is a downsized version of the N250. <p>Much like the N250, the N160 gets a bi-functional LED projector headlamp, flanked by the brand's signature 'naked wolf' LED DRLs. The taillight is also an LED unit, but the indicators are regular bulbs. It also borrows its&nbsp;split-seat, 14-litre fuel tank, tank extensions, and 17-inch alloy wheels&nbsp;from the N250.</p>

<p>Since the N160 is built on the same chassis as the 250cc Pulsars, the bike gets the same frame and nitrox monoshock. However, the&nbsp;single-channel ABS variant makes do with a 31mm telescopic fork and a 280mm disc at the front, while the dual-channel variant gets a bigger 37mm fork and a 300mm disc. The 230mm rear disc is the same on both variants.&nbsp;There's one big difference&nbsp;between the N siblings – the N160 gets a new underbelly exhaust, while&nbsp;the N250 gets a conventional side-slung&nbsp;unit.</p>
