<p>Following the reveal of its most powerful product in the Multistrada line-up&nbsp;–&nbsp;the V4 RS&nbsp;–&nbsp;<a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/ducati/">Ducati</a> has now listed it on its India website, indicating that the model could be launched anytime soon in the country. At&nbsp;180bhp at 12,250rpm, the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS&nbsp;makes more power than the&nbsp;Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, making it the most powerful adventure bike in its class. However,&nbsp;the torque output is 118Nm versus the Pikes Peak's 125Nm.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Powering the&nbsp;Multistrada V4 RS is the same&nbsp;1,103cc, Desmosedici Stradale V4 as the&nbsp;Panigale V4 and&nbsp;the Streetfighter V4. The liquid-cooled engine comes&nbsp;mated to a six-speed gearbox and includes Ducati's STM Evo-SBK dry clutch. The Multistrada V4 RS&nbsp;also uses an air filter, like the Ducati Panigale V4 R.</p>

<p>Chassis-wise, the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS uses&nbsp;a titanium rear sub-frame for enhanced robustness,&nbsp;which is a claimed 2.5kg lighter than the normal one on the other Multistrada V4s, while the main frame is the familiar aluminium monocoque unit. Ducati says this architecture makes the V4 RS the lightest fourth-generation Multistrada ever.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Ducati Multistrada V4 RS: Suspension, Brakes</h2>

<p>For suspension, the&nbsp;Multistrada V4 RS gets&nbsp;48mm fully&nbsp;adjustable front forks with titanium nitride (TIN) and a TTX36 fully adjustable rear monoshock, both sourced from Ohlins.&nbsp;The Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 offers comprehensive suspension electrical adjustment.</p>

<p>The braking setup, on the other hand, comprises&nbsp;dual 330mm discs at the&nbsp;front with Brembo Stylema monobloc four-piston callipers and a single 265mm disc at&nbsp;the rear with a Brembo two-piston&nbsp;calliper. The rear also features a single-sided aluminium swingarm.&nbsp;The motorcycle rolls on a set of 17-inch&nbsp;Marchesini forged aluminium wheels. To shed&nbsp;some weight even further, Ducati has done away with the&nbsp;bulky pillion grab handle and top box mounting bracket for&nbsp;a technopolymer tail section.</p>

<p>The riding aids on the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS include&nbsp;traction control, wheelie control, launch control, engine brake control,&nbsp;four power modes (Full, High, Medium, and Low), a bi-directional quickshifter, radar-assisted adaptive cruise control, and&nbsp;four ride modes (Race, Sport, Touring, and Urban). <p>The adventure bike's new sportier edition features a carbon-fibre front fender, beak, and hand guards. A split-seat configuration with an 'RS' badge, a fresh titanium subframe, four power modes (Full, High, Medium, and Low), four ride modes (Race, Sport, Touring, and Urban), traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, 17-inch Marchesini forged aluminum wheels, and more are other notable features.</p>

<p>Ducati has made significant improvements to the chassis of the new RS model. It receives a titanium rear subframe for enhanced robustness and weight savings. According to Ducati, this architecture makes the V4 RS the lightest fourth-generation Multistrada ever. With a dry weight of 211kg, the motorcycle is approximately 3kg lighter than the Pikes Peak edition.</p>

<p>The motorcycle's suspension setup consists of 48mm Ohlins totally adjustable front forks with titanium nitride (TIN) and an Ohlins TTX36 fully adjustable monoshock in the back. The Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 offers comprehensive suspension electrical adjustment.&nbsp;At the back of the new ADV is a single-sided aluminum swingarm.&nbsp;The V4 RS has dual 330mm discs in front with Brembo Stylema monobloc four-piston callipers and a single 265mm disc in the rear with a Brembo floating callipers for braking.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The bike has 17-inch front and rear wheels, which are approximately 2.7kg lighter than the conventional Multistrada model's 19-inch wheels. These wheels are fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres measuring 120/70-17 in the front and 190/55-17 in the rear.</p>
