<p>The latest iteration of the Hero Destini 125 comes in three variants&nbsp;–&nbsp;VX, ZX, and ZX+. <h2>2024 Hero Destini 125: VX</h2>

<p>This is the entry-level variant of the updated Destini 125. It has drum brakes, a semi-digital instrument cluster (with a small LCD inset), and 12-inch cast alloy wheels. The semi-digital dash displays information such as speedometer, speedometer, trip meter, and fuel gauge. This variant is available&nbsp;in three colour options&nbsp;–&nbsp;Groovy Red, Eternal White,&nbsp;and Regal Black.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>2024 Hero Destini 125: ZX</h2>

<p>Over the VX, the mid-spec ZX variant adds&nbsp;Hero’s i3s start/stop tech, auto-cancelling indicators (segment-first), a backlit starter button, and a pillion backrest. The display is a digital unit with&nbsp;Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Unlike the base variant, the ZX gets a disc brake at the front and 12-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. <p>As standard, the 2024 Destini 125 features a boot lamp, a side stand engine cut-off,&nbsp;an external fuel filler, CBS, and a Type-A&nbsp;USB charging port.&nbsp;The&nbsp;model sits 785mm (the longest in its class) above the ground, while the fuel tank capacity and the under-seat storage are rated at 5 litres and 19 litres, respectively.</p>

For 2024, the Hero Destini 125 gets an all-new design, larger wheels, a fatter rear tyre, and an increased wheelbase. The powertrain remains more or less the same as before. &nbsp;</p>

<p>To begin with, the updated Destini 125 adopts a new design language. It features a projector LED headlamp, H-shaped LED daytime running lamps, repositioned turn indicators, a metal front fender, and an LED taillamp. <p>The teaser trailer suggests that the upcoming Hero Destini 125 will adopt a new design language, with a headlamp going to be an LED unit. The LED projector headlamp will come with LED daytime running lamps (DRLs). The front apron too is expected to receive some changes&nbsp;– sleeker turn indicators with an H-shaped pattern, among other things. At the rear, the scooter will likely get a shorter exhaust, a thicker grab rail, and a passenger backrest. Like the headlamp, the taillamp will be an LED unit. Features-wise, we expect Hero to offer a digital display on the top-spec XTec&nbsp;variant. The display could come with Bluetooth connectivity. <h2>New Hero Destini 125: Hardware&nbsp;</h2>

<p>The suspension setup is&nbsp;expected to be carried over from the current model&nbsp;–&nbsp;telescopic front fork and rear monoshock, while the&nbsp;braking hardware will likely comprise&nbsp;a disc-drum setup for the top-spec variant. The existing Destini 125 sits on 10-inch wheels, and we expect that to change with the updated iteration. Expect Hero to equip the new bike with 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends or&nbsp;at least a 12-inch wheel at the front to remain relevant in the market, albeit on the top-end&nbsp;variant only.&nbsp;</p>
