Royal Enfield Hunter 350

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Dapper Grey, which I purchased six months ago, has been an excellent city bike. The smooth and torquey 349cc engine produces wonderful power and torque, making it ideal for traffic in Mumbai. Depending on how I ride, I get between 35 and 38 km/l. Unlike heavier RE models, it is agile and manageable due to its short wheelbase and lightweight. Charm is added by the digital-analog meter, dual-channel ABS, and retro-modern design. On the road, I paid about ₹1.8 lakh. I'm 5'9", so the 800 mm seat height is ideal for me. The cost of maintenance is affordable, ranging from ₹1,200 to ₹1,800 per service. It's fun, fashionable, and small, which makes it ideal for young riders looking for a contemporary RE.

Eight months ago, I bought my Hunter 350 Rebel Red, primarily for weekend rides and commuting. Compared to older RE bikes, the J-series engine is much more sophisticated, and the 5-speed gearbox shifts smoothly. In Bangalore traffic, I get about 35 km/l on average, and my fastest speed was about 115 km/h. The light, agile handling is what I love most about it. Compared to the Classic 350, it feels so much easier in city traffic. It stands out thanks to its retro style and contemporary features like a USB charger and LED taillight. The price on the road was roughly ₹1.9 lakh. At about ₹1,500 per visit, service fees are reasonable. For someone who wants RE charm without the hefty, unwieldy feel of the older models, this is a fantastic bike.

My Hunter 350 Rebel Blue, which I purchased a year ago, has been a fantastic travel companion for short highway and city trips. The exhaust note has that characteristic RE thump without being overly loud, and the 349cc engine is smooth. For a 350cc bike, I get about 36–38 km/l, which is respectable. It feels sporty and comfortable due to the wide handlebars, slightly rear-set footpegs, and upright riding position. Compared to the Classic or Meteor, the bike is lighter and more flickable due to its 181 kg weight. It costs about ₹1.85 lakh on the road. The cost of maintenance is affordable, ranging from ₹1,500 to ₹1,800 per service. The Hunter is a great option for anyone searching for a contemporary, enjoyable Royal Enfield with urban appeal.
