The Royal Enfield Scram 411 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 2.03 lakh (ex-showroom), which goes up to&nbsp;Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the paint scheme. The Scram 411 is offered in seven colours – black, red, yellow, white, silver, and two shades of blue.</p>

<p>The bike gets&nbsp;the same engine as its bigger sibling, the Himalayan – a&nbsp;411cc single-cylinder air-cooled SOHC engine, which churns out 24.3bhp of maximum power and 32Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.</p>

<p><b>Royal Enfield Scram 411 vs Himalayan</b></p>

<p>A lot of physical attributes distinguish the two siblings, such as the positioning of the headlight and the new single-piece seat unit. The Scram 411 also gets two small side panels instead of the voluminous fuel tank frame of the Himalayan. The former is lighter by approximately 6 – 14kgs, making it slightly easier to handle and push around corners. It also gets a smaller 19-inch front wheel instead of the 21-inch wheel of the Himalayan.</p>

<p>The Scram 411's instrument console resembles the unit offered with the Meteor 350. Although it gets the Royal Enfield Tripper navigation screen as an option, it misses out on a tachometer.</p>

Royal Enfield Scram 411 launched; prices start at Rs 2.03 lakh

Royal Enfield has equipped the Scram 411 motorcycle with the same 411cc single-cylinder engine as its bigger sibling, the Himalayan producing 24.3bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 32Nm.

<p><strong>Royal Enfield will start 2022 with the introduction of its new Scrambler. The Scram 411, which is a Himalayan based scrambler, will rival the newly launched Yezdi Scrambler.</strong></p>

<p>The new Royal Enfield Scram 411 is all set to be unveiled on March 7, 2022. While the scrambler will be positioned as a new motorcycle, it is essentially a toned-down Himalayan. The Scram 411 will be thoroughly based on the Himalayan, but it will lose the&nbsp;visor, front metal brace, and 21-inch front wheel, instead of which the Scram 411 will feature a 19-inch wheel;&nbsp; the rear wheel, however, will be the same as the Himalayan. The tyres on offer will be the same dual-purpose, which are already on offer with the Himalayan.</p>

<p>The instrument cluster will also be the same, and the overall layout of the dashboard of the Scram will be familiar as well. The tank, seat, and panel designs will be carried over too.</p>

<p>It is too soon to confirm if the Scram 411 will have the same suspension geometry as the Himalayan; however, with a relatively smaller front wheel, Royal Enfield is likely to retune the suspension while keeping the suspension hardware the same.</p>

<p>It will be powered by an oil-and-air-cooled 410cc single-cylinder engine. The power output will be close to 25bhp and 32Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It's also likely that Royal Enfield has tweaked the final-drive ratio.</p>

<p>The new Royal Enfield Scram 411 will directly rival the newly launched Yezdi Scrambler. In terms of pricing, the Scram 411 is likely to be positioned slightly under the price of the Himalayan, which is Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom).</p>
