The TVS iQube, in a nutshell, follows a neat and contemporary design. At the front, the curvy front apron houses a U-shaped LED DRL. The rectangular headlamp unit is mounted on the apron, with the main headlamp flanked sitting in between and flanked with indicator strips. The side mirrors are fitted in a square-ish housing, finished in white. The overall stance is nice and compact. The rear, too, houses a rectangular taillamp, with the main taillamp unit sitting in the middle flanked by indicator strips. Overall, the TVS iQube is a good-looking scooter. The TVS iQube is powered by a 4.4kW electric motor that works in tandem with a 2.25kWh lithium-ion battery. The scooter can reach a maximum speed of 78km/h. There are two riding modes on offer – Economy and Power. While power mode is good for the occasional spirited riding, the maximum range of 75km can only be achieved in the Economy mode.
As far as hardware is concerned, the TVS iQube new model rides on telescopic forks suspension at the front and dual shock absorbers suspension at the back. The stopping power comes from a 220mm disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear. Moreover, the 12-inch wheels are shod with 90/90-12 tubeless tyres on both ends.
The iQube brings in a number of features to the table. The highlight here is the next-gen TVS SmartXonnect platform that works in tandem with a TFT instrument cluster. This, in turn, means the TVS scooter gets a number of connected features such as geo-fencing, remote battery charge status, last park location, navigation assist, incoming alerts from the paired smartphone, and then some. As for the lighting, both the headlamp and taillamp are powered with LEDs.
