<p>Hero MotoCorp's <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/vida/">Vida brand</a> of&nbsp;electric two-wheelers&nbsp;announced a new after-sales package for owners of the V1 Pro electric scooter.&nbsp;Customers who purchase&nbsp;the vehicle before April 30, 2024, will receive the new Vida Advantage package for free, which offers a plethora of benefits and services worth Rs&nbsp;27,000 over five years.&nbsp;A five-year/60,000-kilometre battery warranty is one of the many advantages of this&nbsp;after-sales package. Both the battery packs are covered under&nbsp;the manufacturer's&nbsp;new scheme. Moreover, owners will&nbsp;also have access to more than 2,000 fast-charging&nbsp;stations nationwide.&nbsp;In addition, the Vida V1 Pro receives free services at authorised service centres for five years, along with round-the-clock roadside support throughout that time.</p>

<h2>Hero Vida V1 Pro: Mechanical Specs</h2>

<p>In addition to having more colour options than the lower-spec Plus model, the Pro variant&nbsp;offers a longer range and faster acceleration. With a 3.94kWh battery pack, the V1 Pro&nbsp;can go farther than the Plus model, which utilises a 3.44kWh unit. On a single charge, the real-world range of the Hero&nbsp;V1 Pro stands at 110-kilometre. It&nbsp;can reach a top speed of 80km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 40km/h in 3.2 seconds. The model can be had in a total of five shades&nbsp;-&nbsp; Matte White, Matte Sports Red, Gloss Black, and Matte Abrax Orange.</p>

<h2>Hero Vida Electric Dirt Bike</h2>

<p>Recently, the Indian manufacturer showcased an&nbsp;electric dirt bike under the Vida brand&nbsp;at the first-ever Bharat Mobility Expo.&nbsp;Its flat seat, tall front fender, and spoked wheels on both ends—the front being larger than the rear—give it a dirt bike-esque appearance.&nbsp;Both wheels come with off-road tyres. Other elements&nbsp;include wide handlebars, a compact rear portion, a visible bash plate, and 'Vida' branding on the sides.</p>

<p>The battery pack, however, is concealed within the main frame. Disk brakes on both ends handle breaking, while chunky&nbsp;upside-down forks up&nbsp;front and a monoshock on the rear make up the dirt bike's hardware suspension arrangement. Whether or not this Hero Vida dirt bike will be offered for sale as a road-legal motorcycle is still up in the air.</p>

Although both models share many similarities in terms of features, design, and chassis, they have distinct battery packs, which leads to a slight difference in their range. The Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro are both powered by an identical 3.9kW electric motor, which has a maximum output of 6kW. The V1 Pro has a larger battery, 3.94kWh, and can travel 110 kilometres on a single charge, outperforming the V1 Plus, which has a smaller 3.44kWh battery and can travel 100 kilometres. Further, the V1 Pro also accelerates faster than the V1 Plus, reaching 0 to 40km/h in 3.2 seconds, while the V1 Plus takes 3.4 seconds to accomplish the same.</p>

Although not much information regarding the Hero Vida electric dirt bike has been made public, the picture above shows that it resembles a dirt bike in appearance with a flat seat, a tall front fender, and spoked wheels on both ends, with the front wheel being larger than the rear. Other features include wide handlebars, a small rear section, a prominent bash plate, and a 'Vida' insignia on the sides.</p>

<p>Unlike before, the&nbsp;Hero Vida V1 now comes only in a single variant –&nbsp;Pro. The Vida V1 Pro is equipped with a&nbsp;3.94kWh battery pack that sends power to an electric motor, yielding a claimed range of 110 kilometres (real-world range). Power and torque figures stand at 8bhp and 25Nm respectively.&nbsp;</p>

<p>With 8bhp at its disposal, the Pro&nbsp;can hit 40km/h in a claimed time of 3.2 seconds.&nbsp;The top speed of the electric scooter, meanwhile, is marked at 80km/h.&nbsp;Additionally, the Hero Vida V1 Pro comes with a fast charger that can charge the scooter up to 80 per cent&nbsp;at a rate of 1.2km per minute.&nbsp;</p>
