Hero MotoCorp has brought back the V1 Plus model to the Vida EV portfolio in India. This model was initially available for sale along with the V1 Pro version but was later discontinued. Now, the automaker has brought it back to the lineup at an attractive price of Rs 1.15 lakh, which includes the FAME II subsidy and a portable charger. If the potential buyer is from Delhi, Punjab, Chandigarh, or Rajasthan, they will be entitled to an extra discount of Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 due to state subsidies. In comparison to the V1 Pro, which is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom, including FAME II subsidy), the V1 Plus is a more affordable option.

In the market, the Hero Vida V1 Plus competes with the Bajaj Chetak Urbane, the Ather 450S, and the Ola S1 Air.

Hero Vida V1 Plus: Mechanical Specifics

In the Vida EV range, the V1 Plus trim level sits below the V1 Pro. Although both models share many similarities in terms of features, design, and chassis, they have distinct battery packs, which leads to a slight difference in their range. The Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro are both powered by an identical 3.9kW electric motor, which has a maximum output of 6kW. The V1 Pro has a larger battery, 3.94kWh, and can travel 110 kilometres on a single charge, outperforming the V1 Plus, which has a smaller 3.44kWh battery and can travel 100 kilometres. Further, the V1 Pro also accelerates faster than the V1 Plus, reaching 0 to 40km/h in 3.2 seconds, while the V1 Plus takes 3.4 seconds to accomplish the same.
