<p>With more power, the Aston Martin DB11 gets a new flagship model from the AMR division which is faster and quicker than the standard V12.</p>

<p>This last month, Aston Martin has been on a roll by a huge range of announcements. First, they teased us with an image of a new DBS Superleggera which will be their flagship model of the brand, to their new Vantage hitting the racetracks, a last hurrah to the old Vantage V12 with the V600, the announcement of a Luxury SUV from Lagonda and even plans for an Aston Martin-badged submarine.</p>

<p>Now they have decided that the jaw-dropping DB11 needed some fluorescent stripes and highlights so they have revealed the new flagship variant of the DB11 range from Aston Martin Racing or AMR division. But stripes are not the only thing team at AMR have slapped onto the DB11 as they were allowed to tinker around with the 5.2-litre, twin-turbocharged V12 to tune it up to 11!</p>

<p>The engine now develops 630bhp which is 30 more than what is available with the standard V12 DB11. The result of that as claimed by Aston Martin is that the top speed has been pushed north from 322 to 335km/h. It takes the DB11 AMR to accelerate from 0-100km/h 3.7 seconds which is two tenths faster than the normal car. While the Torque output remains unchanged at 700Nm. Also, just to make sure you can hear that engine a little bit louder, Aston have also thrown in a new stainless steel exhaust which in addition to the turning of the transmission allows for the enhanced performance of the AMR version of the DB11. The trickery doesn’t end there as in normal driving modes the car will sound and feel docile, however switching it to ‘Bond, go find the secret nuclear codes before its too late’ SPORT mode is when all hell is said to break loose.</p>

<p>In signature AMR Style, the DB11’s exterior features lime-green exterior highlights with forged allow wheels, carbon fibre and gloss black detailing on the exterior. While the interior makes extensive use of Alcantara and dark chrome in addition to the AMR logos on the seats.</p>

<p>The DB11 range now includes the DB11 V8, the DB11 V12 and now with a new race-inspired flagship DB11 AMR which was launched at the new AMR Performance Centre now stationed at the Nurburgring. If you wish to spec your DB11 to its flagship AMR trim, it will set you back £174,995 (~Rs 1,59,75,213).</p>
