<p>Citing rising input costs and&nbsp;fluctuations in exchange rates, BMW India has hiked the prices&nbsp;across&nbsp;its entire model range, including the X5. As a result of the price revision, the price of the X5 now starts at Rs 96 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.10 crore (ex-showroom, India).&nbsp;BMW updated&nbsp;the&nbsp;X5 in July last year&nbsp;with the latest generation 48V mild-hybrid technology and a few tweaks to the exterior and interior.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The BMW X5 is offered in four variants:&nbsp;xDrive40i xLine,&nbsp;xDrive30d xLine, xDrive40i M Sport, and&nbsp;xDrive30d M Sport, the first two of which have now become expensive by an identical Rs 80,000, while the last two have received a uniform hike of Rs 1.10 lakh. <h2>BMW X5: Powertrain</h2>

<p>The facelifted version of the X5&nbsp;gets a petrol engine and a&nbsp;diesel engine option, both of them are in-line, 6-cylinder units. A 3.0-litre petrol engine offered with the X5 40i cranks out 376bhp of maximum power and 520Nm of peak torque. The car can do 0 to 100km/h acceleration in 5.4 seconds.&nbsp;A 3.0-litre diesel unit in the X5 30d, on the other hand, makes 282bhp and 650Nm. This version can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 6.1 seconds.</p>

<p>Besides, the SUV features an 8-speed automatic gearbox and BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system as standard, along with a 48V battery and an electric motor. The result is an increased power and torque output of 12bhp and 200Nm, respectively.</p>

<h2>2023 BMW X5: Powertrain</h2>

<p>The BMW X5 comes with both petrol and diesel engine choices for 2023 – a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 376bhp and 520Nm of torque and powers the xDrive40i, and a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine, which produces 282bhp and 650Nm of torque and powers the xDrive30d model. These units come with an all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed automated gearbox.</p>

The claimed acceleration times for the diesel and petrol engines to reach from 0 to 100km/h are 6.1 seconds and 5.4 seconds, respectively. <h2>New BMW X5: Engine</h2>

<p>The same set of engines is anticipated to drive the revamped BMW X5 as the outgoing model. The current version has a 3.0-litre petrol engine, which produces 335bhp and 45Nm. It also comes with a 3.0-litre diesel unit, which delivers 291bhp and 620Nm. Both engines come with an all-wheel-drive system and an 8-speed automated gearbox. The new&nbsp;X5, however, is available internationally with various engines, including 3.0-litre gasoline and diesel engines, a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with hybrid motors, and an eight-speed automatic gearbox.</p>

<h2>New BMW X5: Exterior &amp; Interior&nbsp;</h2>

<p>At the front, the revised SUV features new headlamps and integrated arrow-shaped LED DRLs, which act as turn indicators. The bumper is now sharper than before, whereas&nbsp;the kidney grille is the same size as the outgoing model. The only alterations to the rear are a set of new LED tail lights with brand-new X-shaped graphics, while the side profile receives a new set of alloy wheels.&nbsp;The SUV has fairly improved from the inside as well. It now includes a new curving dashboard display that houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment. In addition, the SUV receives optional sports bucket seats, a panoramic sunroof with LED illumination, glass-cut control buttons, and more.&nbsp;</p>
