Along with extending the introductory pricing of the base model, BYD announced that more than 600 reservations were received for its Atto 3 models and Cosmos Black edition in a month.

BYD is preparing to expand its lineup of electric vehicles to include another model for the Indian market. The Chinese manufacturer will soon unveil an entry-level Atto 3 variant, which is due to make its India debut on July 10.

Launched on November 14, 2022, the BYD Atto 3 is built on an all-new BYD e-Platform 3.0, consisting of the brand's signature LFP BladeBattery with an ARAI-claimed range of 521 kilometres.

While the interior layout of the 2024 BYD Atto 3 is unchanged, a new infotainment panel is the most significant update. Compared to the current version's 12.8-inch touchscreen unit, the 2024 model incorporates a larger 15.6-inch screen from the new Seal EV.

About 200 samples of the BYD Atto 3 EV have been delivered in a single day across 6 major Indian cities – Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kochi, according to BYD.

Within two months, BYD India delivered more than 700 Atto 3 electric SUVs. Priced at Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the BYD Atto 3 is claimed to have a 521-kilometre range on a single charge. Notably, the auto manufacturer is also commemorating its 16th anniversary in India.

BYD, the Chinese automaker, has begun deliveries of the Atto3 electric SUV in India. In January 2023, it delivered the first batch of over 340 e-SUVs. Since its launch in the country last year, the BYD Atto 3 has received over 2,000 bookings.

BYD has opened bookings for the new Atto 3 at Rs 50,000. While the prices will be revealed sometime towards the end of this year, the Atto 3 will be available for deliveries by January 2023.
