<p>The upcoming C5 Aircross&nbsp;will be the first Citroen car&nbsp;to use Stellantis' STLA Medium platform,&nbsp;which supports electric, hybrid, and internal combustion&nbsp;drivetrains.&nbsp;Notably, this platform already underpins&nbsp;the Opel Grandland and the Peugeot 3008/5008.</p>

<p>Commenting on the debut of the new platform on the SUV, the company states that the 'C5 Aircross Concept&nbsp;will be able to adapt&nbsp;to the needs and uses of a wide range&nbsp;of customers in this market segment.&nbsp;This platform will also enable customers&nbsp;to benefit from a host of driving&nbsp;aids and a state-of-the-art connectivity&nbsp;and infotainment interface.&nbsp;With its long wheelbase,&nbsp;the C5 Aircross Concept&nbsp;is ideally proportioned&nbsp;to provide generous space&nbsp;for five people.'&nbsp;In terms of dimensions,&nbsp;the upcoming SUV is 150mm longer&nbsp;than its predecessor,&nbsp;measuring 4.65mm in length.</p>

In India, the current-gen&nbsp;Citroen C5 Aircross SUV is powered by a single&nbsp;2-litre diesel engine that produces 174bhp and 400Nm. For transmission, it uses an 8-speed automatic unit. The SUV has two core variants (Feel and Shine), and&nbsp;four monotone&nbsp;and three dual-tone colour options. It can accommodate up to 5 people.</p>

The company is also expected to shortly reveal the cost of the eagerly anticipated C3 Aircross. In April 2023, Citroen India pulled covers from the C3 Aircross. Following the C3, C5 Aircross, and eC3, this will be the firm's fourth product.</p>

<h2>Citroen C3 Aircross: Powertrain</h2>

<p>The forthcoming Citroen model will be powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged PureTech petrol engine, capable of producing 109bhp of maximum power and 190Nm of peak torque. This unit will come mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Currently, there is no official update, but the automaker may offer the car with an automatic transmission later.</p>

Further, the model measures 4,300mm in length. Coming to the interior, the four-wheeler has a similar 10-inch touchscreen infotainment unit as the C3 hatchback. It also includes a fully digital instrument cluster with various drive modes.</p>
